bhagwat geeta adhyay 2 shlok 01 to 10: गीता का दूसरा अध्याय ‘सांख्य योग’ नाम से भी जाना जाता है। सांख्य योग में आत्मा को शाश्वत और शरीर की नश्वरता के बीच अंतर को बताया गया है। कर्म करने से बंधन उत्पन्न करने वाले कर्म बंधन तोड़ने वाले कर्मों में परिवर्तित हो जाते हैं और दुःखों से परे की अवस्था प्राप्त की जा सकती है।
भगवान अर्जुन को याद दिलाते हैं कि एक योद्धा के रूप में उनका सामाजिक दायित्व धर्म की रक्षा के लिए लड़ना है। वे समझाते हैं कि सामाजिक कर्तव्य का पालन करना एक पुण्य कर्म है जो उन्हें स्वर्ग तक ले जा सकता है, जबकि कर्तव्य का उल्लंघन केवल बदनामी और अपमान की ओर ले जाता है।
श्रीमद्भगवत गीता, shrimad bhagwat geeta :-
तं तथा कृपयाविष्टमश्रुपूर्णाकुलेक्षणम्।
tam tatha krupayavishtamashrupurnaakulekshanam.
विषीदन्तमिदं वाक्यमुवाच मधुसूदनः ।।1।।
vishidantamidam vakyamuvach madhusudanah. ( 1 )
हिन्दी अनुवाद –
सञ्जय बोले – इस प्रकार करुणा से व्याप्त और आँसुओं से पूर्ण तथा व्याकुल नेत्रों वाले शोकयुक्त उस अर्जुन के प्रति भगवान् मधुसूदन ने यह वचन कहा।
English Translation:-
Sanjaya said:-
To that Arjuna, who was overwhelmed with compassion, whose eyes were filled with tears and disturbed with sorrow, Lord Madhusudana spoke these words.
Geeta Hindi to English translation :-
श्रीभगवानुवाच :-
कुतस्त्वा कश्मलमिदं विषमे समुपस्थितम्।
kutastva kashmalamidam vishame samupasthitam.
अनार्यजुष्टमस्वर्यमकीर्तिकरमर्जुन ।।2 ।।
anaryajushtamasvaryamakirtikaramarjun.
हिन्दी अनुवाद –
श्रीभगवान् बोले – हे अर्जुन ! तुझे इस असमय में यह मोह किस हेतु से प्राप्त हुआ? क्योंकि न तो यह श्रेष्ठ पुरुषों द्वारा आचरित है, न स्वर्ग को देने वाला है और न कीर्ति को करने वाला ही है।
Translation:
The Supreme Lord said:
“O Arjuna! From where has this delusion come upon you at this critical moment? It is not befitting a noble person; it does not lead to heaven, nor does it bring honor or glory.”
क्लैब्यं मा स्म गमः पार्थ नैतत्त्वय्युपपद्यते ।
claibyam maa sm gamah parth naitattvayyupapadyate .
क्षुद्रं हृदयदौर्बल्यं त्यक्त्वोत्तिष्ठ परन्तप ॥3॥
kshudram hridayadaurbalyam tyaktvottishth parantap.
भावार्थ – इसलिए हे अर्जुन ! नपुंसकता को मत प्राप्त हो, तुझमें यह उचित नहीं जान पड़ती। हे परंतप ! हृदय की तुच्छ दुर्बलता को त्यागकर युद्ध के लिए खड़ा हो जा।।
Meaning (Bhavarth):
Therefore, O Arjuna! Do not yield to unmanliness, for it does not befit you. O scorcher of enemies! Cast off this petty weakness of heart and arise to fight.
अर्जुन उवाच –
कथं भीष्ममहं सङ्ख्ये द्रोणं च मधुसूदन ।
Arjun uvach –
katham bhishmamaham sankhye dronam ch madhusudan .
इषुभिः प्रतियोत्स्यामि पूजार्हावरिसूदन ॥4॥
ishubhih pratiyotsyami pujarhavarisudan.
हिन्दी अनुवाद – अर्जुन बोले- हे मधुसूदन ! मैं रणभूमि में किस प्रकार बाणों से भीष्मपितामह और द्रोणाचार्य के विरुद्ध लडूंगा? क्योंकि हे अरिसूदन ! वे दोनों ही पूजनीय हैं।
Hindi Translation into English:
Arjuna said:
“O Madhusudana! How shall I fight in battle with arrows against Bhishma Pitamah and Dronacharya? O destroyer of enemies! For both of them are worthy of my worship and reverence.”
गुरूनहत्वा हि महानुभावा-उछ्रेयो भोक्तुं भैक्ष्यमपीह लोके।
gurunahatva hi mahanubhavaa-udhchhreyo bhoktum bhaikshyampih loke.
हत्वार्थकामांस्तु गुरूनिहैव भुञ्जीय भोगान्रुधिरप्रदिग्धान् ॥5॥
hatvarthakamanstu gurunihaiv bhunjeeya bhoganrudhirapradigdhan.
हिन्दी अनुवाद – इसलिये इन महानुभाव गुरुजनों को न मारकर मैं इस लोक में भिक्षा का अन्न भी खाना कल्याणकारक समझता हूँ; क्योंकि गुरुजनों को मारकर भी इस लोक में रुधिर से सने हुए अर्थ और कामरूप भोगों को ही तो भोगूँगा।
English Translation:
Therefore, it would be better for me to live in this world by begging rather than killing these noble and revered teachers. For by slaying the gurus, I would only enjoy in this world wealth and pleasures stained with their blood.
Shrimad bhagwat Geeta Adhyay 2 :-
न चैतद्विद्मः कतरन्नो गरीयो-यद्वा जयेम यदि वा नो जयेयुः।
na chaitadvidmah kataranno gariyo-yadva jayem yadi va no jayeyuh.
यानेव हत्वा न जिजीविषाम-स्तेऽवस्थिताः प्रमुखे धार्तराष्ट्राः ॥6॥
yanev hatva na jijivishaam-ste̕vasthitah pramukhe dhartarashtrah.
हिन्दी अनुवाद – हम यह भी नहीं जानते कि हमारे लिये युद्ध करना और न करना इन दोनों में से कौन-सा श्रेष्ठ है, अथवा यह भी नहीं जानते कि उन्हें हम जीतेंगे या हमको वे जीतेंगे, और उनको मारकर हम जीना भी नहीं चाहते, वे ही हमारे आत्मीय धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्र हमारे मुकाबले में खड़े हैं।
English Translation:
We do not even know which is better for us — to fight or not to fight. Nor do we know whether we shall conquer them or they shall conquer us. After killing them, we would not even wish to live; yet those very sons of Dhritarashtra, who are our own kinsmen, stand before us on the battlefield.
कार्पण्यदोषोपहतस्वभावः पृच्छामि त्वां धर्मसम्मूढचेताः।
karpanyadoshopahatasvabhavah pruchami tvaam dharmasammudhachetah.
यच्छ्रेयः स्यान्निश्चितं ब्रूहि तन्मे शिष्यस्तेऽहं शाधि मां त्वां प्रपन्नम् ॥7॥
yachreyah syannischitam bruhi tanme shishyaste̕ham shaadhi maam tvaam prapannam.
हिन्दी अनुवाद -इसलिये कायरता रूप दोष से उपहत हुए स्वभाव वाला तथा धर्म के विषय में मोहितचित्त हुआ मैं आप से पूछता हूँ कि जो साधन निश्चित कल्याणकारक हो, वह मेरे लिये कहिये, क्योंकि मैं आपका शिष्य हूँ, इसलिये आपके शरण में आये हुए मुझको शिक्षा दीजिये।
English Translation:
“Therefore, with my very nature overpowered by the weakness of cowardice and my mind confused about my duty, I ask You to tell me decisively what is truly beneficial for me. I am Your disciple. Please instruct me, for I have taken refuge in You.”
न हि प्रपश्यामि ममापनुद्याद्-यच्छोकमुच्छोषणमिन्द्रियाणाम्।
na hi prapashyami mamaapanudyad-yacchhokamucchhoshanamindriyanam.
अवाप्य भूमावसपत्नमृद्धं-राज्यं सुराणामपि चाधिपत्यम्॥৪॥
avaapya bhumavasapatnamruddham-rajyam suranamapi chaadhipatyam.
हिन्दी अनुवाद – क्योंकि भूमि में निष्कण्टक, धन-धान्य सम्पन्न राज्य को और देवताओं के स्वामीपन को प्राप्त होकर भी मैं उस उपाय को नहीं देखता हूँ, जो मेरी इन्द्रियों के सुखाने वाले शोक को दूर कर सके।
English Translation:
“Even if I were to obtain a prosperous and unrivaled kingdom on earth, rich in wealth and abundance, or even sovereignty over the gods, I do not see what could remove this sorrow that is drying up my senses.”
भगवद गीता अध्याय 2, श्लोक 1 से 10 तक :-
एवमुक्त्वा हृषीकेशं गुडाकेशः परन्तप ।
evmuktva hrushikesham gudakeshah parantap.
न योत्स्य इति गोव्रिन्दमुक्त्वा तूष्णीं बभूव ह ॥09॥
na yotsya iti govrindamuktva tushnim babhuv ha.
हिन्दी अनुवाद – सञ्जय बोले– हे राजन् ! निद्रा को जीतने वाले अर्जुन अन्तर्यामी श्रीकृष्ण महाराज के प्रति इस प्रकार कहकर फिर श्रीगोविन्द भगवान् से ‘युद्ध नहीं करूँगा’ यह स्पष्ट कहकर चुप हो गये।
English Translation:
Sanjaya said: “O King! Having spoken thus to Lord Krishna, the indwelling Supreme Lord, Arjuna — the conqueror of sleep — clearly declared, ‘I will not fight,’ and then became silent before Lord Govinda.”
तमुवाच हृषीकेशः प्रहसन्निव भारत।
tamuvach hrushikeshah prahasanniv bharat.
सेनयोरुभयोर्मध्ये विषीदन्तमिदं वचः॥10॥
senayorubhayormadhye vishidantamidam vachah.
हिन्दी अनुवाद – हे भरतवंशी धृतराष्ट्र ! अन्तर्यामी श्रीकृष्ण महाराज दोनों सेनाओं के बीच में शोक करते हुए उस अर्जुन को हँसते हुए-से यह वचन बोले।
English Translation:
Sanjaya said: “O Dhritarashtra, descendant of Bharata! Then Lord Krishna, the indwelling Supreme Lord, smiling as it were, spoke these words to the grieving Arjuna, who stood between the two armies.”
